Dua Lipa in Red Two-Piece Workout Gear is “Never Not Having Fun”

Incorporate her healthy habits into your life.

Dua Lipa is in vacation mode in her workout gear. In a new social media post the singer shows off her vacation style, wearing a two-piece exercise set in addition to a variety of swimsuits while getting some much needed rest and relaxation. “never not having fun,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. “Baby girl wooooork your body 🔥🔥,” commented one of her followers. “Absolutely stunning 🔥,” added another. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is how to incorporate her healthiest habits into your life.

  1. Talk Out Your Issues

You don’t need to hire a professional to talk it out, says Dua. “I’m not very good at therapy, to be honest,” she dished to Rolling Stone. “As much as I’m disciplined in so many areas of my life — or I try to be — I have a little bit of a harder time locking myself down to talk about how I feel. I think that in part is down to the fact that I think I have a really easy communication with my friends. I talk to my friends about everything that’s happening.”

2.Get Your Zen On

Dua is a big fan of meditation, she added to Rolling Stone. Why should you get your zen on? “When you meditate, you may clear away the information overload that builds up every day and contributes to your stress,” says the Mayo Clinic. Benefits include:

Gaining a new perspective on stressful situations
Building skills to manage your stress
Increasing self-awareness
Focusing on the present
Reducing negative emotions
Increasing imagination and creativity
Increasing patience and tolerance
Lowering resting heart rate
Lowering resting blood pressure
Improving sleep quality

3.Incorporate Yoga Into Your Life

Dua added to Rolling Stone that yoga is her go-to workout, which also helps her destress. She “always, always” travels with her yoga mat, she revealed in a 73 Questions interview with Vogue. Why should you do yoga, per Harvard Health? “Researchers found that people who practiced yoga for at least 30 minutes once a week for at least four years, gained less weight during middle adulthood,” they said. “People who were overweight actually lost weight. Overall, those who practiced yoga had lower body mass indexes (BMIs) compared with those who did not practice yoga. Researchers attributed this to mindfulness. Mindful eating can lead to a more positive relationship with food and eating.”

4.Do HIIT Workouts

Dua is a fan of HIIT. She told Vogue that she does 15-minute intervals of mountain climbers, jumping jacks, and burpees. “It’s high-intensity interval training, but it’s so quick, it’s over before it’s even started!” she said. “I’m still trying to see what my boundaries are and how far I can push myself and when I need to rest.” There is lots of research backing up the benefits of HIIT workouts, including body fat reduction, improved cardiovascular function, and mental health. It is also time effective.
