Dua Lipa Wore a DIY Crop Top and the Most Confusing Gucci Bag

Nobody does Vegas like Dua.

Don’t ever accuse Dua Lipa of not working—because when the superstar singer takes the stage, she’s putting in the time. Lipa put all the endless vacation jokes to rest with her latest photo dump, which showed a quick work trip to Las Vegas. But because Dua Lipa is Dua Lipa, the jaunt wasn’t just about the time spent at the mic. In a classic Lipa-style post, she shared some chaotic snapshots from the business trip, which included a little bit of DIY and a Gucci bag with more GG logos than we can count.

No trip to Vegas would be complete without some time at the slots, so Lipa posed by some of the city’s most recognizable machines while wearing a long leather skirt and matching knee-high boots. And while that’s just a normal day for everyone’s favorite pop star, she added an oversized gray top that she made into an impromptu crop top by tucking the hem into her bra, making for a draped, ab-baring shape that looked effortlessly cool.

“A work week in Vegas ✨,” she captioned the carousel.

Elsewhere in the dump, Lipa showed off a Gucci purse that was covered in gold GG emblems. She re-posted a closer look at the shoulder bag in her Stories, giving her followers a closer look at the different textures and sizes of the over-the-top logos, which featured on the body of the bag and even on the strap. To add to the manic energy of the post, it was slightly blurry and showed Lipa in a collared top and tiny shades.

Lipa recently spoke about winning an MTV Video Music Award this year for Best Choreography. Any fans (and haters) will raise an eyebrow at that honor, especially after Lipa’s moves—which were not-so-lovingly compared to a pencil sharpener—became a meme earlier in her career. During an appearance on The Project, Lipa told host Sarah Harris that she lets criticism of her dancing roll off her back now.

“You’ve got a brand-new album, performed on SNL, and your film clip ‘Houdini’ won Best Choreography at the VMAs. That really must have felt like a big F-you to all those internet haters,” Harris said.

“You know what, I try not to even think about that anymore, because I feel like so much time has passed since then, and so much work has been done,” Dua responded. But it’s really a beautiful award to get, and to feel so, I guess, accomplished in a way, and confident. It took a little while to get there, so I’m very, very happy. For me, being able to do a whole music video, just me on my own, and having the confidence to do that, feels amazing.”
