You already knew Lindsay Lohan’s baby Luai had a cool mom (she’s definitely not a regular mom!), but did you know that he also had cool godparents? The Mean Girls alum just shared who her son’s godparents are, and we never would have guessed!
If you thought one of Lohan’s former coworkers, like Jamie Lee Curtis from Freaky Friday, or one of her fellow noughties it girls, like Paris Hilton, held the position, then you’d be wrong. Luai’s godparents are actually Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry!
Lohan revealed this special relationship in a subtle way over the weekend. She and husband Bader Shammas attended a Golden State Warriors game on Saturday, where they posed with the NBA star for a picture. Lohan wore a black cap over her long red hair, and she wore a black hoodie. Her arm was around Curry, and he pointed at the star in the photo. Shammas was on Lohan’s other side, holding up Curry’s signed, game-worn jersey. The message written on the jersey is what confirmed their relationship.
After the game, Lohan posted a photo of the back of the jersey on her Instagram story, per PEOPLE. “To Luai,” was written on the golden numbers on the back. “Your godparents love you!” It also featured Curry’s signature and “Warriors!!”
Luai also has a special relationship with his “movie grandmother” Jamie Lee Curtis. When Lohan’s rep confirmed her baby was born, Curtis took to Instagram to share the exciting news. “MAGIC MONDAY!” she wrote. “My movie daughter just made me a movie grandmother. Blessings to Lindsay and Bader for the birth of Luai! @lindsaylohan.”
Curtis gave Luai an adorable gift of children’s books and other items, too. “A warm welcome to your Luai — I can’t wait to meet him! XO J,” she wrote in a heartfelt note.
This baby definitely has a lot of people in his corner who love him!
