Taylor Swift cheers on the Kansas City Chiefs as NFL season kicks off at Arrowhead Stadium

Swift made appearances at 13 Chiefs games last season to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce and his team. He was also spotted at some of her Eras Tour concerts.

Taylor Swift was spotted in Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday cheering on Kansas City as the Chiefs kick off the NFL season with high hopes of a three-peat Super Bowl championship.

The Chiefs will officially start the football season Thursday night with a home-field advantage against the Baltimore Ravens, a team they barreled past in the AFC championship game earlier this year.

Video shared on social media showed Swift walking into the stadium wearing a denim corset and denim shorts set, thigh-high red boots and a large pendant around her neck.

Swift was spotted at a whopping 13 (her lucky number) Chiefs games last season, cheering on the team — and her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — from a box high above the field, sporting unique Chiefs merch in red and gold and capturing enough airtime to anger some avid NFL fans.

Perhaps most notably, she flew straight back to the U.S. after her final Eras Tour show in Tokyo to cheer on Kelce and the Chiefs to a second consecutive Super Bowl win.

Swift and Kelce have been involved in a high-profile love story since July 2023, when Kelce attended her Kansas City Eras Tour concert with a friendship bracelet and a dream.

Rumors swirled that the pair were an item throughout last summer into the start of the 2023-24 NFL season, but it was Swift’s appearance at the Chiefs’ home game against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 24 that officially cemented their relationship in the history books and on the front page.

It appeared even more serious after Kelce’s Super Bowl win: The couple was captured by broadcast cameras sharing hugs and kisses on the field of Allegiant Stadium to celebrate the victory. They were later seen on social media celebrating at parties together.

Since that fateful September game against the Bears, the couple has been seen publicly supporting each other in their careers, with Swift in a box at Chiefs games and Kelce in the VIP tent at the Eras Tour numerous times.

Kelce was famously in the crowd in Argentina when Swift called him out midshow, changing the lyrics in her song “Karma” from “Karma is the guy on the screen” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs,” prompting a blush and a celebration from Kelce.

Swift dropped her 11th album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” in April, and fans quickly pieced together that two songs — “The Alchemy” and “So High School” — were likely about her romance with Kelce, both full of football references and callouts about the feelings of being in a new relationship.

She appeared to confirm those theories at her 87th (Kelce’s jersey number) show of the Eras Tour in Paris in May, which Kelce attended.

During her “1989” set, Swift sported a new red top and yellow skirt, a possible nod to the Chiefs colors, and sang “The Alchemy” as one of her surprise songs at the show.

Swift has one final stint of the Eras Tour that kicks off in Miami on Oct. 18, giving her four more chances to cheer on the Chiefs before she heads out on tour again. The Chiefs will have a bye week during Week 6, before the Miami show.

She will wrap up the tour in Vancouver, Canada, on Dec. 8, meaning Swift should be able to catch the Chiefs’ final four games of the regular season and have plenty of time to rest up to attend the playoffs, should the Chiefs make them.
