Taylor Swift is once again proving she’s the master of quiet luxury style.
While Swift’s Eras Tour concert outfits are bright and sparkly, her everyday fits are more subtle. The singer-songwriter was spotted at Electric Lady Studios in Greenwich Village wearing many of the best quiet luxury brands out there today: boots by the Row, a corduroy baseball cap by Ralph Lauren, a tank top by Gabriela Hearst, and linen pants by Vince. Swift also carried a Fortune Cookie Bag by Yuzefi, a London-based brand founded by Iranian designer Naza Yousefi.
According to multiple TikToks, Swift left the recording studio after 1 a.m. in the morning. She walked directly into a waiting car, surrounded by her security team. She is currently on a break from her world tour, which resumes in November in Brazil, and then has a longer break before she performs in Tokyo in February. She has no planned appearances between now and November, however at next week’s VMAs, Swift leads the pack with 8 nominations, including for Video of the Year.
Swift’s all black outfit is a bit of a departure from her preppy street style looks this past summer, and she has known in the past to hint at her upcoming music through her fashion. With the upcoming release of 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in October, and the debut of the Eras Tour concert film in theaters, could Swift’s all black recording studio outfit hint at a new era for her? Only time will tell.
